Electrical & Automation Manager-Vlaams Brabant

• You supervise the technical studies and validation of the concept, the electrical components and installations, the electrical diagrams, etc.
• You centralise and standardise the programming of PLC's and electronic controllers.
• You carry out the programming of electronic controllers or PLCs.
• You negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors and follow up the coordination on site of the different works to be carried out by subcontractors and technicians.
• You develop and ensure the standardisation of the proposed solutions.
• You will ensure the proper execution (concept, timing, budget) of the allocated projects and you will organise, plan and allocate the necessary resources.
• You are responsible for safety on site.
• You organise, manage and optimise the entire electrical design process for all activities.
• You follow the evolution of new legislation and adapt the concepts accordingly.
• You provide technical support to the commercial department when the preliminary design is set.
• You participate in feedback between departments.
• You ensure 'customer satisfaction' and report on your activity to management.
• As a people manager, you will lead, monitor and support your team in a collaborative and open-minded manner.

• You have a master degree in Industrial Engineering.
• You have a few years of professional experience in an engineering function in the electrical engineering, automation and/or industrial IT sector.
• You have a strong interest in electrical and automation projects.
• You have knowledge of PLC programming and electronic controllers.
• You are flexible, motivated and have an analytical mind.
• You have a good sense of organisation, a high level of reactivity and work with rigour.
• You are a team player, independent, flexible and creative.
• You are bilingual FR/NL with a good command of English.
