Application Engineer - Electric Power Generation

• Your mission? To do everything possible to offer optimal support to clients. You look for new technical solutions for our customers and work closely with your colleagues in the Sales and Engineering Team on a daily basis.
• In addition, you will also take care of the following tasks:
• Preparation of offers, technical and commercial proposals, cost sheets and sales dossiers for the relevant product range. To do this, you will work together with the sales representatives. You are also responsible for the correct transmission of the sales files to the Engineering team.
• You support the sales department by studying the specifications and answering the requests and questions of customers, sales representatives and technicians on the basis of your technical and commercial knowledge. It is therefore essential that you are up to date with the latest developments in terms of products and technologies.
• You develop technical concepts and ask subcontractors for prices.
• Carry out updates of databases and tools such as the cost sheet template, quote template, pre-engineering tool, supplier prices and documents, etc.
• Full customer support:
• Answering their technical and non-technical questions.
• Provide technical support for sales projects.
• All this in consultation with your line manager and sales colleagues.

• You want to apply your technical expertise to the sale of diesel generators, gas cogeneration plants or UPS systems. Technology and being "customer-oriented" are part of their DNA. Constantly developing your knowledge, taking initiative and assertiveness are the basis to flourish in the job of Application Engineer.
• You have a Master's degree in engineering (in electromechanics or electricity).
• Have at least 1 year experience (or a first experience) in project management or a similar function.
• Be "customer oriented" and always think solutions.
• Flexibility, passion and a good analytical mind.
• Organisational skills and good priority management.
• High reactivity and rigour.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Be bilingual NL / FR with a good command of English.
• Be able to communicate clearly with the different partners (also in more difficult circumstances).
• To have a good command of common computer applications.
• Learn quickly how to use new IT tools.
