Project Engineer Marine & Industrial Applications-Vlaams Brabant

You are responsible for the complete follow-up of the project in collaboration with the Sales and After Sales departments:

• Technical study and validation of the concept, components, installation drawings, electrical diagrams, etc.
• Technical study in compliance with the legislation specific to the Navy.
• Analysis of engine wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of the operating principles and management of motors and their accessories.
• Integration of engines and their management in the machines or boats of the customers.
• Study and design of electrical control cabinets.
• Negotiation with suppliers (delivery volume, prices, delivery times, commercial conditions, warranty, etc.).
• Follow-up of orders with suppliers, follow-up of deliveries and installation on site.
• Follow-up and coordination on site of the various works to be carried out by the subcontractors and technicians.
• Commissioning and acceptance of new installations.
• You are responsible for the respect of safety on the site.
• You are responsible for respecting the budget set by the Sales Department.
• You provide technical support to the Sales Department when the preliminary project is set.
• You advise and guide the Industrial and Marine customers on the management principle of their engines.
• You help customers to develop their prototypes for the integration of our engines.
• You carry out and manage manufacturing standards in collaboration with the assembly workshop.
• You will ensure the proper execution of the allocated projects and you will produce the necessary reports.
• You keep yourself informed about the specific legislations related to the Navy.
• You are willing to take up the challenge of integrating green energy into a traditional production method.
• You make every effort to ensure that the projects you win are properly followed up in terms of customer satisfaction.

• Have a master's degree in industrial engineering.
• Have a few years of professional experience in an engineering function in the marine and/or industrial sector.
• Have a particular interest in the marine and industrial world and the energies required for it.
• You are flexible, motivated and have an analytical mind.
• You have a sense of organization, a great reactivity and work with rigor.
• Team spirit, independence, flexibility and creativity are your key words.
• You are bilingual FR/ NL with a good command of English.
